From a young age, Marie loved being in the kitchen. She would experiment with cookies and cakes, always coaxing her siblings to try a taste. Over the years, Marie's love of baking has grown into her business, Custom Cakeworks.
Marie has completed numerous Wilton cake decorating courses, which have provided her with a solid foundation of cake decorating techniques. The courses were a gift from her daughter Katerina, as a fun way of spending more time together. Much to Katerina's surprise, these courses sparked a passion for her as well.
The members of Custom Cakeworks agree that the biggest thrill of cake making is pushing creative talents to see what exciting new designs and concepts can be created. This process includes input from clients. Taking a client's vision and creating a custom cake that is reflective of their imagination is what Custom Cakeworks is all about.

Custom Cakeworks offers one-of-a-kind creations. Our cakes are made with the client's vision in mind. Each cake is custom made from scratch in the Custom Cakeworks kitchen. Our specialty is wedding and special occasion cakes. Whether it is a birthday, graduation, shower or corporate event Custom Cakeworks can design the perfect cake for your function. Cake styles include tiered, slab, 3D and cupcakes.
